Sweet Itch in Horses

Sweet Itch in horses is the effect of midges and appears in the warmer months when the midges are more active between March and November.  The condition tends to disappear once temperatures drop lower than 4°C when the midges are inactive. Boots put to the test as Storm Darcy hits the North East

I've just returned from a lovely wintery walk with my dog close to where I live. I thought I'd give my new Rhinegold Arctic Boots a blast to see how they would cope under Storm Darcy's snow dump!  They were absolutely fantastic; no leaks, good grip and kept my feet lovely and warm. On top of that, I had a woman staring at my feet to the point I was about to become paranoid until she said "nice boots".   My only criticism is that they didn't have a built in battery powered assist button on the side to give me a boost up...
